Alyssa Carbonaro
Master of making things happen, Alyssa does it all. Her visionary instincts, organizational skills, & attention to detail make her unstoppable as an event coordinator. From a young age, Alyssa became obsessed with all things weddings, planning, and design. In high school, she realized that her dream was to become an event manager and to own her own business but she never could have known she’d be lucky enough to do it with her best friend by her side.
This DMV native received her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of Maryland. She began her career as an assistant venue manager at one of DC’s most historic & unique event spaces before going on to work as an event manager for the nationally recognized Andrew Mellon Auditorium. After years of distinguishing herself in the event industry, Alyssa decided to follow her entrepreneurial aspirations & create Olive You Events.
Ariana Abedin
From designer cupcakes to lavish tablescapes, Ariana is known for her ability to create stunning, spectacular designs. Born and raised in the DC area, Ariana obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Hospitality Management from Marymount University. While in school, she began to work at Georgetown Cupcake and after graduation was promoted to store manager. Her time at Georgetown Cupcake taught her invaluable skills in customer relations, coordinating large custom orders, and employee management. She went on to work at a boutique studio & event space in Washington, D.C. before deciding to pursue event design and join Olive You Events.
